The
State Library User Organisations’ Council Inc (SLUOC) brings together groups
of people in fields such as history, genealogy, heritage, architecture, and
academia. The members of these organisations use the State Library on a
regular basis and care for its future as an important cultural institution
in the State of Victoria, Australia. The purposes for which the Association

Some
of the activities in which SLUOC is involved in order to carry out its goals
include: bi-monthly committee meetings to discuss current issues with the
Library, seminars, regular meetings with the Chief Librarian and other Senior
Library Staff , and meetings with Government and Opposition personnel. |
